Love birds are getting in the Valentine's spirit

Love birds are getting in the Valentine's spirit

SWEET hearts will tomorrow be exchanging cards and gifts to mark St Valentine’s Day.

Our iwitnesses have already been getting into the spirit by sharing their love-inspired photos - from real sweet hearts to love birds. Val Bond sent us several photos of hearts made of jelly beans, love hearts and stones, while another iwitness member from Colchester sent an image of two birds that look as if they are kissing. Lesley Sharman, who took the photo, said: “Even my garden birds are indulging in a little smooching. The truth of the matter is that although they look like they are kissing they are, in fact, battling over food.”

If you have forgotten to treat your Valentine, there is still time to make a romantic gesture. Simply visit the Valentine’s Day page - click on the link on the right-hand side of the page - and leave a free note on our message board. We will be publishing messages online tomorrow throughout the day.
