Determined teams battled it out to become the fastest dragon boat team over the weekend.
On Sunday, 10 groups took to the water for the event which raises money for St Elizabeth Hospice.
Hundreds lined the banks of Alton Water, near Ipswich, to cheer on the teams as they paddled for glory – and for sponsorship. Gavin Lamb, St Elizabeth Hospice’s business partnerships fundraiser, said: “The atmosphere was fantastic, with 500 people cheering our teams on and enjoying the day.
“We have had thousands of pounds pledged in sponsorship, which will go towards local hospice care for local people.
“Thank you to everyone who supported the event, the crews and their companies, the sponsors and spectators, the volunteers, Anglian Water and Gable Events for their ongoing support.”
The winning team, the Bengal Tigers, paddled to victory in their fourth year of taking part to claim their first title in 51.55 seconds.
