AS the county braces itself for the the prospect of blizzards, pictures are stil coming in of earlier snowfalls.

Weather experts are predicting heavy flurries of snow will hit Suffolk and north Essex at about 7pm.

Norwich-based Weatherquest said it would be accompanied by winds of around 20mph, opening up the prospect of blizzards and snow drifts.

Forecaster Phil Garner said further heavy snowfalls are expected on Sunday evening.
