HALLOWEEN fever swept Ipswich and Felixstowe this week with witches, ghostly figures and vampires all featuring in the Star.
Pumpkin carving has been espeically popular this year and we featured a photo of little Izzy Hawkes with her giant pumpkin, and also photographed members of the Ipswich Allotment Holder’s Association measuring their prized vegetables.
There was sadness too as thieves stole money raised in memory of brave tot Jaymie-Leigh Ring.
But the story that dominated the headlines was Ipswich Town’s loss against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend and the appoitnment of new manager Mick McCarthy.
