BIKERS from across the country and Europe hit the highway for the 21st Copdock Motorcycle Show.
More than 10,000 people flocked through the gates at Trinity Park yesterday for the event, organised by the Copdock Classic Motorcycle Club (CCMC).
Bolddog Lings FMX Display Team, Honda’s official and the UK’s number one motorcycle display team pushed the boundaries and wowed the crowds with their heart-stopping tricks.
The team was joined by the Two Brothers Racing Stunt Display Team to perform freestyle stunt riding, Ken Fox’s Wall of Death, Austin Vince talking about his motorcycling travelling adventures and the Motorcycle World Land Speed Record Streamliner was on display.
David Baldry, chairman of the CCMC committee, said: “It must have been as successful as last year’s event with a really good crowd.
“It was our 21st show and we were really hoping to have a good one and it certainly lived up to expectations.
“We’ve already had lots of comments from people saying how great it was.”
Other attractions included a Motoball display, race teams, CAM Rider motorcycle training, Pre-65 scramblers and displays from local race teams past and present.
Each year CCMC donates money to charity via a grand draw and this year East Anglian Air Ambulance benefited.
Mr Baldry added: “All the money from a motorcycle grand draw will go to the air ambulance and once we’ve counted up our expenses we hope to donate lots more to local charities.
“Last year we donated nearly £40,000 to charity.”
