Fantastic Family Festival at Wantisden Valley

Scores of families enjoyed a day filled with music, dance, demonstrations and workshop yesterday, at an event looking at how children growing up in the 21st century are raised.

The Fantastic Family Festival at Wantisden Hall also included nature walks and arts and crafts.

About 100 families turned out to support the event, which was organised by 21st Century Child,

Mia Philips, of the organisation, said: “It was great, it was a fantastic festival and there was a great response.

“Everyone that I have spoken to has said it has been amazing.

“The idea behind this is to start a debate about what children of the 21st century really need.”

This was the first 21st Century Child event and it also raising money for local and national charities.
