Suffolk Show - horses on show

Suffolk Show - horses on show

Horses with perfectly plaited manes and shining coats are being proudly walked around the Presidents Ring this morning.

The Suffolk horses are in the ring throughout the morning session, with various classes taking their turn before the judges.

Show jumping has been taking place in the grand ring, followed by the double harness scurry and the heavy horse turnout.

The judges have also been casting their eyes over the various breeds of sheep and cattle this morning.

For full results, see tomorrow’s Suffolk Show supplement - free with the EADT and Ipswich Star.

  • What a shame the show isn't at a weekend meaning less hassle on the roads for those trying trying to get to work during the week & giving more people the chance to attend. Some of us, without children cannot take time off work during half term weeks & therefore never have the opportunity to attend the show.

This school received its Charter from Queen Elizabeth I in 1566 and went through a number of guises before it became, what is now, Ipswich School. The school buildings are on Henley Road but have previously been in Foundation Street and Blackfriars Monastery.
