Suffolk Skies: During the last two weeks on my travels around Suffolk, I have witnessed the most incredible skies. Rainbows and dramatic clouds filled the beautiful rural landscape.

Archant

The weather may have calmed down in recent days but that hasn’t stopped the skies over Suffolk making some dramatic pictures.

These images from Archant photographer Sarah Lucy Brown show both the darker and lighter side of our weather over the past week, with dark intimidating clouds and the cheerful optimism of rainbows providing stark contrasts.

There are even some cheeky rays of sunshine poking through some of the less formidable cloud formations.

Fortunately although the skies may appear to be threatening bad weather they haven’t delivered anything like that of previous weeks.

Have you been inspired to take some pictures of the unstable weather we’ve been seeing recently. Send us some examples of your work and you could see them featured in one of our iwitness spreads.
