Grundisburgh: Crews deal with small house fire in roof

A small fire in a property’s loft has been extinguished by crews.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to Otley Road, Grundisburgh, at 11.10am.

Two appliances from Ipswich East and one from Princes Street attended. On arrival just before 11.30am, crews discovered a small fire located in the loft hatch. They then used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, bringing it under control by around 11.55am.
