Firefighters attended building fires in Ipswich and Hadleigh

Crews were called to two separate building fires in Suffolk.

The first call came in at 11.35am to London Road, Ipswich.

The first floor of a flat was heavily smoke logged. Crews used a hose reel and had the fire under control around 25 minutes later.

In the second incident, crews were called to Wilson Road in Hadleigh just after 1.50pm.

One crew from Hadleigh and two crews from Princes Street, Ipswich, were called to a house fire. The fire was dealt with using one hose reel jet and was brought under control by 2.30pm.
