15:05 03 December 2012
AN investigation has been launched after a man approached children at the gates of a school and invited one to join him on a walk.
The incident happened at Hintlesham Primary School in George Street at about 12.30pm on Friday. The suspect approached the locked gates and spoke to children through the railings.
The man is described as of mixed race, aged 65-70 years old, with short white hair and a beard, tall, of a thin build and had a brown dog with him. Police would like to speak with the man or any witnesses. Call officers on 101.
In a conversation published in the Guardian’s ‘Weekend’ magazine, musician Brian Eno and former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis briefly discussed their experiences of the town, with their views not especially favourable.
