Officers were called to the B1115 in Hitcham, near Stowmarket, on the morning of January 20.

The man, 41 and from the Hitcham area, was found by the Fiat people carrier after it had crashed between 11.30pm on January 19 and 12.30am the following morning.

He was taken to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds, as he said he had been made unconscious at the time of the crash.
