Holland on Sea: Man in court following armed robbery

A 19-year-old man from Clacton has appeared in court charged in connection with an armed robbery in Holland-on-Sea, last week.

Kenny Aldred of Sladburys Lane, Clacton, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court, on Saturday, charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm following a robbery at a post office in Stratford Road shortly before 4.30pm on Wednesday.

Aldred was remanded in custody to appear before Chelmsford Crown Court on December 10.
