A hi-tech cluster is celebrating after reaching a milestone in its growth.

Innovation Martlesham (IM), based at Adastral Park, near Ipswich, said it is “delighted” to announce it is now home to 100 ICT and digital companies.

The cluster includes global organisations such as Cisco, Huawei and Nokia, as well as for a diverse range of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Adastral Park is the home of BT’s global research and development headquarters and a globally-renowned centre of technical excellence, set in 100 acres near Suffolk’s heritage coast.

BT research and innovation boss and managing director of Adastral Park Tim Whitley said: “We are very proud of Innovation Martlesham and the progressive companies that form part of the cluster. We’re truly delighted Innovation Martlesham has reached 100 companies and feel this is huge milestone for Adastral Park. We have big ambitions for Adastral Park.”
