Traffic incident at Ipswich station

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision outside Ipswich railway station.

The incident happened in Burrell Road yesterday, Monday, February 10, around 6.45am. A black Hyundai collided with a 29-year-old male cyclist.

The cyclist was taken to Ipswich Hospital and sustained serious head injuries.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident. Calls should be made to PC Andrew Bashford from the Roads Policing and Firearms Operations Unit on 101.
