Ipswich: Crews attend business fire in Tavern Street

FIRE crews were called to a business premises in Ipswich tonight (Friday February 1) after people reported smelling burning.

Two appliances from Princes Street fire station were sent to the incident in Tavern Street at about 7.15pm.

Crews worked at the premises and by about 7.40pm had extinguished the fire and made the property safe.

They returned to their station by 7.45pm.

Police are appealing for information after an X-Box, games and jewellery were stolen during a burglary in Ipswich on Tuesday.
