Ipswich: Crews called to car fire

FIRE crews were called to reports of a car on fire in Ipswich this evening.

One crew from Princes Street attended the scene of the blaze in Robin Drive, Ipswich at 4.11pm.

Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish and dampen down the fire. The fire was extinguished by 4.17pm and crews were back at base by 4.29pm.

An Ipswich man who stole a bank card and a mobile phone from his mother will be sentenced next month after a pre-sentence report has been prepared on him.
