A man has been charged with attempted murder and will be appearing in court today following a serious stabbing in Ipswich.

Shaun Webber, 22, from Fore Street, Ipswich, was arrested following an incident along a footpath behind Sapphire Close, in the town, between 9.50pm and 10.20pm on July 6 where a man in his 30s sustained serious stab wounds.

Webber has been charged with attempted murder and will appear before East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court today.
