A burglar who broke into Ipswich Town’s merchandise shop at Portman Road damaged two of the tills.

The “Planet Blue” shop was targeted at about 5.45pm on Sunday when the shop was broken into.

But a police spokeswoman said nothing was stolen as the burglar fled upon hearing the security alarm.
