A manhole cover has collapsed on the Nacton Road.

Traffic has been disrupted on the Nacton Road due to the collapsed manhole cover near J57 onto the A14.

Police were called about the manhole at 7.54am. The road remains open and police await Anglian Water to come and carry out repairs.

There is also heavy traffic on the A14 eastbound in Ipswich between J56 and the Nacton Interchange.
