Burnt out vehicles in Gt Whips Street, Ipswich

Police are appealing for information after a car and a motorbike were set on fire.

The incident happened in the early hours of this morning in Great Whip Street.

At some time between 4.30 and 4.45am a blue Yamaha motorbike and a blue Ford Focus, both parked in the street, were deliberately set on fire.

The fire service attended and the fires were put out.

However both vehicles were so badly damaged they were irreparable and had to be written off.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious or who may have information about these incidents is asked to contact Pc Philip Burton at the Ipswich Response Team on 101 Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
