Ipswich: Armed police arrest man after reports he had a gun at his home

A MAN has been arrested by armed police following reports he had a gun at a property in Ipswich.
The 45-year-old from Ipswich was detained in Wherstead Road this morning on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He is currently being questioned by officers at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said no weapons were found at the property.
