The death of a man whose body was found in Ipswich Marina is not being treated as suspicious.

Police were contacted just after 5.50am on Saturday, May 17 by a member of the public reporting a body in the water near to the lock gates.

The body was recovered and the man, who was in his 60s, was confirmed as dead.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and the matter will now be passed to the coroner.
