The fire service was called to a house fire in Kemball Street this evening.

Crews from Princes Street were alerted to the incident at 5.28pm, and arrived on the scene at 5.35pm.

They found a dishwasher, that was located in the kitchen, on fire.

Three occupants suffered smoke inhalation, and the fire was extinguished by 5.50pm.

Crews used one hose reel.
