OFFICERS are appealing for help in finding a woman who has been missing since the early hours of this morning.

Samantha Chambers, of Lock Close, Debenham, spoke to her family over the phone at around 4.30am today and said she was in a flat in Ipswich town centre.

The flat has been visited but there were no signs of the 43-year-old and her family have been unable to contact her since.

Samantha is white, of average build, around 5ft 3ins and has short dark brown hair.

She was wearing a khaki green Gap mid-length coat with fur around the hood, ripped black leggings and a pink Nike rucksack.

Anyone with information should call Suffolk police on 101 immediately.
