Earlier delays on the Orwell Bridge have now cleared.

Suffolk Police reported they were called to a “police incident” on the bridge this afternoon which caused severe delays in both directions on the A14 Orwell Bridge between junction 56 at Wherstead Road and J57 the Nacton Road turn-off.

  • Time for another way to get across the river is now serioulsy required . Dartford has gone from one tunnel , to two tunnels and then a bridge , 3 ways to get from one side to the other . We don't want a toll either .
