A 27-year-old man from Ipswich has been charged with five offences across Ipswich and Felixstowe.

Darrell Lambert, of Hawke Road, has been charged with making off without payment, theft of motor vehicle, aggravated vehicle taking and property damage, and two counts of theft of conveyance other than motor vehicle.

He is due before Ipswich Magistrates Court this morning, Friday, December 20.

The charges relate to making off without payment on September 26 this year at a petrol station in Anzani Avenue in Felixstowe; theft of motor vehicle in Humber Doucy Lane on July 17 where a Vauxhall Cavallier was stolen; aggravated vehicle taking and property damage in Landseer Road on September 26 where a truck was stolen and damaged; theft of conveyance other than motor vehicle of a moped from a pub car park in Foxhall Road on September 21; and theft of conveyance other than motor vehicle of a Yamaha motorcycle from outside a business premises on Greenwich Business Park on December 5.
