Ipswich: Firefighters put out blazing car in Ellenbrook Road

07:06 12 August 2014

Archant

Fire crews were called out last night to extinguish a burning car in Ipswich.

It happened in Ellenbrook Road and was first thought to be a fire in the open when firefighters were contacted at 11.43pm. However later calls established it was a car fire.

A single crew was sent to the blaze and put out the fire with a single hose reel while wearing breathing apparatus.

The incident was under control by 12.37am.
