Ipswich: Firefighters tackle hedge and bin blaze

FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a fire involving a hedge and a bin in an Ipswich residential street.
One crew from Princes Street was sent to Cottingham Road after several members of the public reported the blaze at 2pm.
Firefighters were on the scene within a few minutes and found a five metre stretch of hedgerow alight and a refuse bin.
A hose reel was used to tackle the flames and the crew was quickly sent to another incident before returning to base.
