Ipswich: Get planting now for autumn pumpkin competition

GREEN-fingered people are encouraged to start thinking about a fundraising competition later this year.
Ipswich Allotment Holders’ Association hosts an annual sponsored pumpkin growing competition in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). Prizes are awarded for the heaviest and best decorated pumpkins with categories for adults, children and school groups.
The weigh-in and prizegiving will be held at Gainsborough Labour Club in Landseer Road on Saturday, October 26.
