Ipswich: Head on collision under A14 leaves three with minor injuries

Three casualties from a minor accident have been treated by paramedics this morning.

A white Vauxhall Combo van and a BMW 1 Series were involved in a head-on collision on the A1189 under the A14 at the Nacton Interchange junction.

An ambulance attended to deal with minor injuries to the occupants who were all able to get out of their vehicles unaided.

Police were also notified of the incident which took place around 6.45am.

  • I have seen so many near misses at this junction, the problem is that the cars cut out on you when you reach the roundabout, nobody wants to wait anymore at roundabouts.

A driver found asleep in his car with the door open in Ipswich town centre while above the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the road.

The man, in his 60s, had been karting at the circuit, near Beccles, when he was reportedly involved in a collision with another go-kart.
