Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Ipswich during which laptops and musical equipment were stolen.

It happened between 7.25pm on Friday and 1am the next day in Gatacre Road.

Entry was forced to a rear door before a black bin liner was emptied and used to carry items away from the property including three laptops, an Xbox and a digital camera.

Also stolen was a Japanese Fender guitar. It is cherry red with tiger stripes around the body and a 4inch scratch from the neck to the middle.

Anyone with information should call Ipswich CID quoting reference IC/14/1429 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
