An 88-year-old man charged with two child sex offences will appear at Ipswich Crown Court this month.

Ronald Chisnall, of Kestrel Road, Ipswich, did not indicate a plea when he appeared at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

Chisnall has been charged with two counts of sexual offences against an under 13.

He will appear at Ipswich Crown Court on January 28 for a preliminary hearing.
