A MAN is being quizzed by police after an allegation of sexual assault.

The 27-year-old was arrested in the early hours of this morning after a woman said she had been assaulted in Silent Street, Ipswich at 10.15pm Saturday.

The suspect is currently being questioned at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.

Anyone with information about the incident should call police on 101.
