Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving after Ipswich crash

One man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving in Ipswich following a crash.

Police and firefighters were called to the two vehicle crash in Yarmouth Road just before 3pm this afternoon.

One fire engines from Ipswich East attended the scene amid reports of a car fire following the crash. Crews arrived to find no fire but made the scene safe with police.

There aren’t believed to be any serious injuries as a result of the crash. One man was detained near the scene.
