A man in his 20s suffered a suspected broken leg in a crash in Ipswich today.

A silver Vauxhall Vectra collided with a blue Honda moped in Clapgate Lane at around 2.40pm, police said.

The driver of the moped, a man in his 20s, sustained a suspected fractured leg and was taken to Ipswich Hospital, an ambulance spokesman said.

He said the injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police said no arrests were made at the scene.
