A man is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates’ Court today, having been charged with three offences including, two thefts.

Lee McLaughlin, 33, of White House Road, Ipswich was arrested yesterday and taken to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.

He was subsequently charged with two counts of theft and one count of breaching an anti-social behaviour order.

The theft charges relate to two incidents of items being stolen from separate supermarkets in Ipswich, at a Tesco Express in Brantford Road and an Aldi on Hines Road.
