A man who was attacked with a brick has been taken to hospital.
The man was walking with a woman along Belstead Road, Ipswich, at about 2.40am on Sunday when they were approached by two men.
One of the men hit the victim on the head with a brick, causing him to fall to the ground.
The suspects then ran off towards the town centre.
The man’s injuries meant he had to be taken to Ipswich Hospital.
The man who attacked with the brick is white, of a very slim build, about 30-years-old, with blonde hair. He was wearing a red-coloured round neck jumper.
The man who was with the offender is white, between 25 to 30-years-old, of medium build and had dark brown cropped hair.
Anyone who witnessed the attack or has information should call police on 101.
