A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash.

The accident, involving a blue Fiat Punto and a motorcycle, happened in Grey Friars Road, Ipswich, at 2.25pm.

A Suffolk police spokesman said the motorcyclist suffered leg injuries and was taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance.

The road was blocked both ways between Princes Street and Bridge Street while recovery work was carried out.
