Ipswich: Organisers pull plug on park festival as forecasters predict dollop of snow

SUFFOLK’S first Holi Festival of Colour on Sunday has been cancelled because of the forecast adverse weather conditions.
The event, organised by the borough council, the Ipswich and Suffolk Indian Association (ISIA) and the Hindu Samaj, was due to be held at Holywells Park in Ipswich.
A spokesman for Ipswich Borough Council said: “The Holi event due to take place on Sunday at Holywells Park has been cancelled due to expected adverse weather conditions.”
Organisers hope to announce new date soon.

Great news for all Hindus back in the mother country as the forecast is a sizzling 33Celsius on Saturday in both Bangalore and Mumbai. Ipswich can't match that even in the warmest of summer months.
