Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in Ipswich.

The incident happened in Fletcher Road at approximately 5.30pm on Saturday, December 14.

A 19-year-old man was biking along the road when he was grabbed from behind, by one of two men. One of the offenders tried to pull the victim off his bike and then the other man also tried to do so.

The victim managed to keep hold of his bike and cycled away. The victim saw three other men sitting nearby on a wall who were with the two assailants.

The offender who first tried to grab the bike is described as a white man, approximately 18-year-old, between 5’10” and 5’11” tall, of a medium build, had a shaved head and was wearing a black hooded top and black jeans.

There isn’t a description of the second offender.
