Man fined for swearing at police officer

A MAN is in hospital after being kidnapped at knifepoint and burned in Ipswich.
The victim was parked in a silver Mercedes in Bell Close when two men into his car and threatened him with a knife.
He was forced into the back of his car and driven to a terraced house in Ipswich at around 3.15pm yesterday.
While inside the property, the victim was blindfolded and asked for money.
He was also burned and is currently being treated in hospital for his injuries which are not life-threatening.
The victim was later given his car keys and allowed to leave.
When he returned to his home in Cemetery Road, he found he had been burgled.
Officers are searching for three black men and two white women in connection with the incident. Witnesses or anyone with information about the kidnapping or burglary should call Ipswich CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
