14:50 20 February 2013

Archant

Thieves have stolen power tools from two vans parked in the same street

The incidents both happened in Robin Drive. The first was between 11pm on yesterday and 6.30am today when hand tools, a green Bosch jigsaw and a yellow Dewalt drill were stolen from a grey van parked on a drive. The second crime took place at 4.50am today when a Makita circular saw and two Bosch drills were stolen from a white van.

The thieves may have been driving a white Ford Transit that was seen nearby.

Any witnesses can call 101.

  • I think people are silly to leave there tools in a van overnight. They are asking to be stolen. In this day and age people need to take more responsbility for thier possessions.
