FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a puppy that had got stuck in a car in the Ravenswood area.

The drama unfolded in Elderberry Road at breakfast time on Sunday and the crew from the Ipswich East fire station managed to free the Jack Russell within a few minutes.
