A CAR ploughed into the wall surrounding a garage forecourt following a two vehicle collision.

Police said the incident happened in Nacton Road at 10am today and involved a Renault Clio and a Range Rover.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said the two cars collided, with the Renault Clio then hitting the wall.

No one is believed to be seriously hurt and no structural damage was caused.

The incident was captured by our roaming iWitness photographer Gary Grayson who uploaded the snap at www.iwitness24.co.uk

  • Interesting headline: A "moment" is a very brief period of time in and around a specific point; in this case that "point" was the time of the car crashing. So one would expect that the photograph was taken at the very time the car crashed or a few seconds after. But there is a cone in place, so clearly it was sometime after. Therefore the headline is extremely INACCURATE and should read something like "Ipswich: Roaming photographer captured car ploughed into wall". Why use a word like "moment" to give dramatic effect when it appears not to be true? It indicates desperation.
