A two-vehicle collision in an Ipswich residential street led to delays for motorists today.

The incident, which involved a white Mini and a silver Peugeot, happened in Anglesea Road at about 10am.

The road was completely blocked for several hours and there were reports a wall may have been damaged in the incident.

One woman suffered chest pain as a result of the incident.

Meanwhile, police and paramedics were also called to the A1071 in Newton, near Sudbury, at 9.40am to reports that a car had ended up on its roof.

The vehicle, a black Volvo, had three occupants and one of them is understood to have suffered a head injury.
