TONIGHT’S the night for Super Blues fans to reminisce about the club’s greatest ever achievement.
A special reunion - UEFA 30 - is being held at the Corn Exchange tonight to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Town winning the UEFA cup.
Only a few tickets remain on sale for the event which has been organised by The Evening Star, Ipswich Borough Council and Ipswich Town Football Club.
It will feature a host of stars from the team of 1981 - along with the famous trophy itself.
Guests of honour on the night will be former Portman Road heroes Frans Thijssen, Mick Mills, Eric Gates, Paul Cooper, George Burley, John Wark and Kevin Beattie.
TV personality Stuart Jarrold will host the evening and he will be interviewing the players once the gala meal has concluded.
Mick Parker, one of the event’s organisers, said: “It promises to be a great evening and everyone involved is tremendously excited.
“This is a rare chance to see the famous team.”
A limited number of tickets remain on sale to allow supporters to watch the action from the Corn Exchange balcony.
Balcony tickets, priced at £30, are on sale at the Regent Theatre.
Any profits from this evening will go to the ITFC Charitable Trust.

A football team won a so-called "cup" thirty years ago. And the end of the day, is it really something to get so excited about?
