Ipswich: Two buses collide in Old Norwich Road

14:11 11 February 2013

Archant

TRAFFIC built up in Ipswich this morning after two buses collided.

Police were called to Old Norwich Road at 8.20am today following reports that two buses had been involved in a crash.

A police spokesman said there were passengers on the buses at the time but that no-one was injured. The drivers exchanged details at the scene.

The spokesman said the crash caused a number of other buses to queue up behind where the accident had taken place, until they were able to move pass the scene.

  • I'm puzzled. If this occurred on the Old Norwich Road, then surely what little traffic runs down that road would hardly cause traffic to "build up" in Ipswich. Unless there's more to the story than is told here.
