A woman is set to appear before magistrates later this month after an incident at the town’s hospital.
Elizabeth Ward-Buck, of Eastward Ho, Leiston, was arrested following the scene at the accident and emergency department on Saturday night.
On Sunday, the 51-year-old was charged with two counts of racially aggravated assault, two counts of common assault, and one count of assaulting a police officer.
Among the alleged victims were UCS film and media student Gina Thompson from Nigeria and her Spanish friend. They filmed the incident in which a woman was seen to shout at Ms Thompson in front of patients in the waiting room. Ms Thompson is heard to express her distaste with what was being said.
Ward-Buck has been released on bail and is to appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on February 20.

This woman's attitude is absolutely disgusting. I'm so glad Gina stood up for herself!
