A WOMAN in her 80s was airlifted to hospital after falling down stairs and suffering a head injury.

The woman was given advanced life support by a East Anglian Air Ambulance critical care paramedic and was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, for further treatment.

The incident happened on Wednesday.

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after the death of a 14-year-old boy in Thurston.
